Equipment – A summary of the activity

Equipment is a physical entity used to hold, move materials for multiple purposes (ex. forklift, trailers, wagons, containers etc.). In this activity, you can define attributes such as asset details, owner type, agency details if the owner is hired or leased, geo details, and registration details.

Capacities can be maintained in a variety of dimensions, such as overall dimensions, internal dimensions, weight, and volume capacities. Several non-dimensional capacities can also be maintained, such as TEU (Twenty-foot Equivalent Unit for containers) and FEU (Forty-foot Equivalent Unit). You can map Transport Handling Unit (THU) to the equipment.
