Geography
Select the “Geography” activity under the “Logistics Administration” business component.
The “Geography” page appears.

Clicking this icon available near certain fields takes you to the help
page of the respective field.
To create a new geography
This page consists of the following tabs:
v Country
v State
v City
v Suburb
Enter the following details in the multiline:
Country |
The unique code identifying the country. (Alphanumeric, 40). Mandatory. |
Country Desc. |
The description of the country. (Alphanumeric, 255). Mandatory. |
Time Zone |
Use the drop-down list box to select the time zone of the country. |
Status |
Use the drop-down list box to specify the status of the country. The combo is loaded with the values as “Active” or “Inactive”. The system displays “Active” by default on the launch of the page. Mandatory. |
Reason Code |
The code identifying the reason for which the status has to be changed. (Alphanumeric, 40). This field is mandatory if the status is “Inactive”. |
Reason Desc. |
On enter of reason code, the system displays the description of the reason On save, the system saves the country details.

Use the drop-down list box to specify the status of the postal code. The combo is loaded with the values as “Active” or “Inactive”. The system displays “Active” by default on the launch of the page. Mandatory. |

Click “Manage Zone” link to map the cities, postal codes and subzones with the zone details.
Click “Manage Region” link to map the cities, postal codes, zones, subzones and state with the region details.
Note: At least one row should be selected in the multiline.

Click the “Save” button to create new geography details.
On save, the system saves the geography details.
To modify an existing geography details
Modify the required fields in the multiline and click “Save” button to update the modified geography details.
The system displays the following in the “Data History” group box:
Created By |
The login ID of the user who created the geography details. The date and time at which the geography details was created. |
Modified By |
The login ID of the user who modified the geography details. The date and time at which the geography details was last modified. |
